If you are using dynamic URL parameters in LinkedIn Ads, pay attention.
LinkedIn has restructured its campaign hierarchy and updated its URL macros to align with other major advertising platforms.
Starting October 2025, the old structure:
Campaign Group / Campaign / Creative
officially becomes:
Campaign / Ad Set / Ad
This change directly affects your URL macros.
Macro Changes - Old to New
CAMPAIGN_GROUP_NAME→CAMPAIGN_NAMECAMPAIGN_GROUP_ID→CAMPAIGN_IDCAMPAIGN_NAME→AD_SET_NAMECAMPAIGN_ID→AD_SET_IDCREATIVE_NAME→AD_NAMECREATIVE_ID→AD_ID
If you rely on dynamic parameters for tracking, reporting, or CRM attribution, now is the time to review your setup.
Double-check your URLs and templates to make sure nothing breaks when the transition goes live.

Better to fix it proactively than to discover broken tracking after your data starts drifting.
